Website: www.globalswitch.com.au

Global Switch in Ultimo, Sydney, Australia is one of the largest data centres in the Southern Hemisphere. Built on Tier III specifications and offering N+1 redundancy on power, it houses servers for the Australian Department of Defence, along with Australia's leading telecommunications, government and finanaical institutions, which gives us great confidence in hosting our servers there.

The data centre offers network redundancy via Vocus, Pacific and Pipe, and provides a high quality internal network with backup routers and switches. Power is sourced outside of the CBD and power failure is catered for via an on-site diesel generator.

Global Switch's network comprises multiple main production servers, backup servers, as well as administrative, spare and dedicated servers.
